Online bingo chat rooms are great places to meet people, and they add an extra dimension to bingo gaming. As well as having the chance to win the bingo games themselves, you have a chance to win loyalty points or other bonuses in the chat games. If you’re new to playing online games then the chat can be a little confusing at first. It moves very quickly, and people sometimes seem like they’re speaking another language! The text you’re seeing is just chat abbreviations – used to let people convey common messages in a convenient way. You should be able to find a full list of common chat terms on the web site of the bingo online company you’re playing with, but here’s a few to get you started. GTG: Got to go WDW: Well done winner LOL: Laughing out loud CM: Chat moderator / community moderator ((player)):This is one player giving another player a hug TY: Thank you YW: You’re welcome
There are many more terms – the above is just a few of the more commonly used pieces of ‘bingo lingo’. If someone ever says something, and you aren’t sure what it means, just ask! Your fellow bingo players will be happy to explain. The same goes for chat games – usually the rules are fairly simple, and the CM will explain them before the start of the bingo game, but if you’re unsure, look on the online bingo site for an explanation, or ask your fellow gamers. The only stupid question is the one you don’t ask! |
